Sooeun Kwak & Gayageum ensemble "La-on G"
"La-on G" hopes to stay in the place of pleasant communication where the tradition and modernism coexist and musical seriousness and popular universality sympathize with each other through a musical instrument "Gayageum". Kyung Hwa Yu
Kyung hwa Yu is a Chulhyungeum(Korean Zither that has been modified from the Geomungo and feature the Guitar) player. She plays her own compositions, play not only the Cheolhyeungeum but the percussion instruments. YIEN
YIEN the Kinetic Korean music Group Founded in 2003 unfolds a wide spectrum of creative music with a characteristics of Korean traditions with the ensemble of a Gayageum, Daegeum, Haegeum, Piri, and Percussions. YIEN presents the music imbruing sentiments of the young generation by combining the traditional elements of the Korean music and the electronic sounds in a subtle and creative manner. Naedrum
Naedrum means "making sounds" and was established with the purpose of modernising the traditional Korean culture by bringing customary performance art to a global audience.
